Vine Sanctuary | A Sacred Chamber of Transcendent Peace

This project is a speculative architectural proposal that transcends 8,000 years of human history—religion, conflict, and power—and elevates “peace” into a sacred and almost divine spatial condition, using the grape leaf as its central motif.

The vein-like structure symbolizes the branching and often conflicting paths of human history, yet ultimately converges toward a singular center. Walls, ceilings, and columns form layered, continuous surfaces, creating the sensation of being enveloped within the interior of a monumental leaf.

Rendered in pure white, the space functions as a field of purification—where all values, conflicts, and histories are dissolved and reconfigured. Soft, diffused light fills the environment like sunlight filtering through leaves, dissolving material weight and traces of time. What remains is silence, balance, and presence.

At the center, a circular table acts as a symbolic and almost ritualistic focal point for dialogue, sharing, and reconciliation. Here, power is no longer oppositional, but redefined as a force of harmony.

Through the symbolic language of the grape leaf, this project embraces the depth of human history while transforming it into a spatial vision of transcendent, sacred peace.
