About MOMO-CREATE
MOMO-CREATE is a creative studio founded by Architectural Director Masayoshi Oki, bridging architecture, wine, and culture.
We see architecture not merely as a physical structure, but as an experience shaped by place, culture, and human memory. Just as wine reflects its terroir, we believe architecture also expresses the time, culture, and human life embedded within a place. Grounded in architectural direction, MOMO-CREATE integrates perspectives from wine, art, music, and local culture to create new value and narratives for hotels, wineries, adaptive reuse projects, and branded environments.
We also explore Speculative Architecture — architecture as a form of thought experiment — to imagine possibilities beyond practical constraints. It is an ongoing inquiry into future spaces and cities that cannot be defined by efficiency and rationality alone. MOMO-CREATE moves between practice and imagination, reality and speculation, envisioning places that remain in memory.
